Booking a Survey
Please contact us by email or our mobile telephones to discuss your requirements. We will be pleased to advise you which type of survey would be most suitable for your needs. We will also talk to you in depth about your concerns.
What to expect from us
- We will quote you a price based on your requirements and let you know our availability.
- We will send you an email to confirm our costs for the survey, confirm availability and provide our standard Terms and Conditions.
- To confirm your booking we will ask you to reply to our email confirming the address and purchase price of the property and that you agree to the Terms and Conditions. We will ask you to send your fee to our nominated bank or by cheque.
- As soon as we receive the agreed Terms and Conditions we will contact the Estate Agent or private vendor to arrange an appointment to carry out our inspection visit as soon as possible.
- We will require payment prior to releasing the report. The quickest method is by electronic bank transfer directly into our bank account. We also accept cheques made payable to “Balment Keep Chartered Surveyors”. This may slow down the process.
- Once we have received payment we will be happy to provide you with a same day or next day verbal feedback of the main points in connection with the survey prior to preparing our full documented report.
- Surveys are often by their nature negative. We recommend that your report is read at least twice as it becomes less onerous at the subsequent readings. When you have read through your survey report we are more than happy to discuss any queries or concerns this may have raised.
