An informed choice
The best way for you to make an informed decision on such an important investment is to have a professional survey carried out by a qualified Chartered Surveyor with extensive local knowledge of the area and who works on your behalf and nobody else’s.
A private survey will tell you what you want to know about the property and highlight any potential problems. This will avoid costly surprises after you move in. It may also help you to re-negotiate any agreed price if a serious defect is discovered. The cost of the survey, therefore, will be more than justified.
